Organ on a Chip

Organ on a Chip (OOC), getting much more attention in the drug development field due to its active nature during the checking of the fate of the drug, compared to current static 3D tissue models. This device can provide great insight of the biomedical, chemical, pharmaceutical and environmental perspectives of the drug and can almost mimic the human trials. With the success of the OOC, we may be able to bypass the testing of the drugs in animals since the OOC may provide the complex physiological functions of an organ in human body.
